This paper presents a novel method to fabricate pixel controlling substrates for LCD and OLED. Instead of a‐Si TFTs, pixels are controlled by millions of Si IC chips embedded in a plastic substrate and metal lines connecting IC chips are formed in a self‐aligned manner by using functional metal ink.
