Image quality of flat panel displays has made remarkable advance in recent years. However, there is still room to improve the quality. Cooperation of components in a video system, such as camera, image processing and display, is important for further improvement and efficient construction of a video system with totally high image quality. Significance and examples of the cooperation are reviewed. Value of the cooperation is recognized in improvement of motion‐image quality and color reproduction.
