We propose a new electrode design with different aligned direction for the fringe‐field switching (FFS) mode which can reduce the color difference and gamma shift by using the conventional multi‐domain operation. The LC direction suit a set of perpendicular electrode in the pixel with homogeneous alignment. Because of the mutually perpendicular LC direction, the birefringence will be well compensated in the different observing direction. Finally, we show the similar gamma curve and less color shift in oblique direction.
