We have fabricated a new 4.0‐inch 1280 × 720 pixels active matrix organic light emitting diode (AMOLED) panel employing simultaneous emission driving, which reduces the pixel area. A pixel circuit, which consists of 4 PMOS TFTs and 1 capacitor, successfully compensates the threshold voltage variation of low temperature poly‐silicon TFTs.
