The effect of polymerization on electro‐optic properties of blue phase liquid crystal (BPLC) is investigated. Once the monomer is added to the pure BPLC, chiral pitch and Kerr constant increase, but decay time decreases. In spite that the chiral pitch of polymer stabilized BPLC is almost no change after polymerization, Kerr constant decreases significantly and the decay time increases.
