The Creativity Styles Questionnaire‐Revised was administered to 93 supervising managers of a nation‐wide rail transportation corporation. The managers were divided into high and low creative groups based on a self‐report measure of creative capacity. The results were consistent with those obtained with students in a previous study. The high creative managers, relative to low creative managers, reported (a) greater belief in unconscious processes, (b) using a greater number of techniques, and (c) being more motivated in their efforts to pursue ideas rather than to develop a concrete final product.
