This article describes the scope of the current school drop‐out problem. Within this context, an overview and analysis of the school drop‐out problem among the Florida Seminole is provided. Current prevention and remediation strategies for populations at risk are reviewed. Culturally sensitive strategies are suggested for addressing this Seminole problem.
