International Standard ISO 5725: “Precision of test methods — Determination of repeatability and reproducibility for a standard test method by inter‐laboratory tests”, which has been adopted by the Analysis Committees of the institute of Brewing and the European Brewery Convention as a guide for conducting collaborative trials, is explained in simple terms and compared with the procedure previously used.
