Differences in methods of testing and in interpretation of the results are especially liable to arise in connection with transactions concerned with barley germination; consequently, to assist in avoiding such difficulties, the Analysis Committee of the European Brewery Convention has here defined the terms and tests which are considered most appropriate for use in this field.
