Brewing trials have been completed on three Wye Variety hops. Results for the hop FF.2I (Early Choice) from the 1951, 1957 and 1958 crops show that it is an acceptable replacement for 25% of a normal hop grist, whilst those for OF.27 from the 1956,1957 and 1958 crops also indicate that it is acceptable at the same replacement level. Trials of OZ.97a from the 1957 and 1958 crops show that it is not readily acceptable at this level.
