Summary The name Lecanora lobulata Flörke is lectotypified, and it is established that the combinations Xanthoria lobulata (by B. de Lesdain) and Caloplaca lobulata (by Hellbom) both are based on Flörke's name of 1815. Xanthoria boulyi Zahlbr., a name sometimes used for the species, is superfluous and illegitimate.
