A cooperative student‐intern program, referred to as the Pupil Personnel Services Team, has been implemented by North Carolina State University in cooperation with the Wake County public school system. The roots of the team concept originated in North Carolina State's Departments of Counselor Education, Psychology, and Teacher Education from the School of Education. The social‐work program is included from the School of Humanities and Social Sciences.
