Where do those who receive graduate degrees in guidance and counseling fhd employment? How many become school counselors? Are the school counselors the ones that showed promise during their supervised practicum work? To investigate such questions, a study of graduate students who had enrolled for supervised counseling in the Counseling Laboratory at the University of Michigan was undertaken in 1960, one to nine years after they had completed the practicum.
