An analogy of how good water managers should approach water supply challenges the way great golfers approach their game. Plan ahead, have the right tools in the bag, and embrace new technology. While potable reuse ‐ both direct and indirect ‐ is already happening in several places in North America, using the Direct Potable Reuse framework is somewhat akin to getting the latest advice from the club pro. It points out that this new technology is available and the right way to go about it.
