The focus of this issue is listed as filtration, but the December issue has always been about much more. In effect, the December issue has covered most areas of water treatment, especially those having to do with particle removal. Interestingly, none of the peer‐review articles this month are about filtration, but we were able to attract a number of feature articles that explore the topic ‐ one in a most unusual way.
