This article discusses an approach used by Scottish Water that uses best practice sponsorship and governance within its civil engineering projects combined with change management to achieve successful project outcome. This approach is called the “Vision to Reality” program. An example is presented of how Scottish Water is applying the Vision to Reality approach to its Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) Refresh project.
