This article discusses the growing trend in businesses to offer health insurance coverage for domestic partners, a decision made based on the desire to attract and retain employee talent regardless of sexual orientation. Two stories are included in the article that describe how domestic partner health benefits, or the lack of them, affect families. The article includes an inset describing the AWWA Diversity Award.
