This article announces the Dow Live Earth Run For Water, sponsored by Dow Chemical Company and Global Water Challenge, a coalition of 24 organizations dedicated to saving lives through access to clean drinking water. This is the largest‐ever worldwide event aimed at raising awareness and funds to help solve the global water crisis. The run will take place Apr. 18, 2010, in cities throughout the world, consisting of 6 K runs or walks occurring over the course of 24 hours. The run will be followed by concerts and water education activities to inform the public about the global need for water.
