With a shaky stock market, a declining real estate market, and rising oil prices, consumers and companies alike are holding their breath as well as their wallets. Our first issue of 2008 provides information on several techniques that can help utilities stay afloat in such turbulent financial waters by conserving or re‐using supplies, increasing efficiency, fine‐tuning asset management, and funding security upgrades.
