In his column, AWWA Executive Director Jack Hoffbuhr poses as a water customer who sends an email to his local public official. He begins the email by expressing his appreciation for the water service provided to the public. He continues by giving some feedback on raising water rates, saying not to be embarrassed because it's still the best value for our money. He urges the public official to be creative in communicating with the public about the value of water, water resources in the future, and home water treatment units.
