This article discusses the capabilities of Sensicore's WaterPOINT, a patented lab‐on‐chip water profiling system. The technology miniaturizes, integrates, and automates laboratory functions and has the potential to significantly alter the practice of water quality management. The article describes the technical innovations of this system, and also introduces the WaterNow Internet Service that consolidates WaterPoint data from a city's monitoring locations onto a secure internet site and displays the information on a map overlay of the geographical area.
