This article reports on a new study called “Water Treatment Chemicals,” published in October 2003 by the Fredonia Group Inc., an international industrial market research firm headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio. The study predicts that demand for water treatment chemicals in the U.S. will increase 4.5% per year to reach $3.9 billion in 2007. Growth is expected to be highest in the industrial segment, with slower but steady growth in the municipal market.
