This article discusses several key aspects of water utility security that include establishing and maintaining key relationships with customers, local law enforcement, municipal employees, neighboring water utilities, and local fire and hazardous materials response teams; staying close to your drinking water regulatory agencies and other security sources; building a water security culture within your organization; and, activating vulnerability assessment and emergency response plans.
