This article reports that the management and consulting firm R.W. Beck received the 2002 Outstanding Water Resource Project Award from the Seattle section of the American Society of Civil Engineers for the firm's Idylwood Creek Restoration project in the Seattle suburb of Redmond, Washington. This project involved major modifications to Idylwood Creek within the park to change its hydraulics, improve safety, and rehabilitate aquatic habitats.
