This article discusses the arsenic levels found in the drinking water of countries outside the US and how as little as $5 can reduce arsenic levels from 100 ug/L to safe levels of 20 ug/L. The article stresses how a donation of $10 a month (the cost of protecting 2 million consumers in the US from the health risks of arsenic in the water supply) to such groups as Water For People can save a child's life or reduce the risk of cancer in developing countries.
