Alabama's hydraulic fracturing programs to enhance the recovery of methane gas from coal beds could be approved by the US Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) under a more flexible provision of the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA), according to the US Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
