This article reports on the 2001 salary survey conducted by the National Society of Professional Engineers that is offered in a comprehensive database format on diskette with a companion book. Categories of the survey include income, level of education, length of experience, level of professional responsibility, branch of engineering, job function, industry or service of employer, registration status, supervisory/managerial responsibility, and region and metropolitan area.
