In his column, AWWA Executive Director Jack Hoffbuhr discusses the problem of supplying everyone in the world with safe drinking water and sanitation, in particular to the urban poor. Included in his article is the six‐point integrated strategy for improving management of urban water resources that was adopted by the Second World Water Forum.
