With regulatory activity picking up momentum into 2000, utilities must anticipate and strategically plan for compliance. To comply with future regulations, water utilities will need to anticipate and strategically plan for upcoming regulatory requirements. This article reviews current regulatory trends that water utilities should consider in strategic planning so that they can comply with new rules within the required time frames.
