Since 1976, when it was learned that Cryptosporidium could cause disease in humans, people have been aware of the threat of cryptosporidiosis. New attention is being focused on determining and reducing the risk for cryptosporidiosis from drinking water. Answers to frequently asked questions are provided in this article.
