The 104th Congress may bring significant reforms to the SDWA as well as to USEPA's drinking water program. Previous articles (published in the J ournal in February 1990, March 1992, February 1993, and February 1994) reviewed the history, content, status, and schedule of regulations mandated by the Safe Drinking Water Act. Current developments related to these rules are presented in this article.
