The May 1992 issue of the J ournal contained an interesting and useful article by Benjamin et al on the pilot testing of limestone contactors in British Columbia, Canada. This discussion examines one of the conclusions of that article and reports on the availability of a limestone contactor design program (DESCON) that was recently prepared with support from the US Environmental Protection Agency.
