Mr. Mannion asks the public to remember, despite all that has been recently said and printed about the safety of local drinking water, the essential point is that water provided by the local utility generally is the safest, most healthful beverage a person consumes. The public can also expect and count on their water supplier to undertake every practicable measure to ensure the quality and safety of the water delivered to the tap.
