Symons, past president of the association and only living member of the AWWA Hall of Fame, talks with JOURNAL editor Nancy Zeilig about the history of JOURNAL AWWA, the evolution of the association, and his own career in the water industry. The interview took place April 14, 1989, in Palm Beach, Florida, where Symons has lived since his retirement in 1984.
