The Wahnbach Process employs energy‐input‐controlled direct filtration with phosphate precipitation, destabilization, agglomeration, and multimedia filtration. This process has reduced the phosphorus input into the Wahnbach Reservoir to a significant extent, which has controlled the nature and amount of algae growing in the reservoir.
