A survey was conducted on utility practices, experiences, and problems in conducting meter programs by AWWA's Distribution Division Committee on Customer Metering Practices. The survey findings serve as the basis of this report. The results are intended as a service to the water supply field to help decision makers assess and manage individual situations.
