Walter C. Money, president of the Elizabethtown (NJ) Water Co., believes that unions do nothing more than create barriers between labor and management, making communication an effort akin to combat. A well‐managed utility can provide more opportunity, more motivation, and better working conditions than a utility under the rule of a union.
