The grading schedule is a means of classifying municipalities with reference to their fire defenses and physical conditions. Required fire flows, hydrant flow tests, repair time for pumps, power outages, calculating fire flows, hydrant distribution, economic justification of improvements, and evaluation of small distribution mains are discussed.
