As many as seven separate excavations had to be made to bury all Services before the Eugene Water & Electric Bd. began to bury telephone, teleprompter, electric, and water lines in the same trench. Reducing the number of trenches has simplified construction, made the location of plastic pipe easier, increased the safety of maintenance crews, and produced a more attractive Community.
