After watching a fire with his small children, Harry Drinkwater drank a glass of water treated by Clearwater Water Co. His widow brought suit against the utility, and Messrs. Davis and Murrell, meeting at the pre‐trial conference, provide a lively exposition of some of the legal problems that can arise from a case of cross‐connection.
