An attempt is made to show the interaction of pricing and investment policies under conditions of indivisibilities, cyclical demand, demand that grows over time, and economies of scale. * All of these factors should be taken into account by a metropolitan water supplier, with the possible exception of demand that grows over time. Also, these factors should be considered simultaneously since they are inextricably bound together.
