In order to improve the Sturgeon Point Water‐Treatment Plant in accordance with the Federal Water Pollution Control Act Amendments of 1972, the available alum‐sludge treatment‐and‐disposal methods were evaluated by pilot plant studies. These evaluations are presented in this part of this report. Part 1 appeared last month and Part 3 will appear next month.
