The hydrocyclone, which has found widespread successful use in industry, has considerable potential as a clarifier in water treatment, according to the authors. This article represents a portion of the work accomplished at Oklahoma State Univ. in studying the feasibility of using the hydro‐cyclone for solids–liquids separation in water and wastewater treatment.
