A growing awareness of the need for water conservation is pervading all factions of US society. In order to husband its resources, the City of Amarillo has instituted wastewater reclamation. The first of these two papers presented at the Annual Conference on Jun. 25, 1970, is devoted to the operation of that city's wastewater‐facility operation. The second paper describes how a power utility in the area uses the treated wastewater for cooling purposes.
