Three important factors involved in achieving a well‐balanced distribution system are storage, booster pumping, and standby power. These factors, and the requirements for each, are examined in this joint discussion presented on Jun. 25, 1970, at the Annual Conference, Washington, D.C., by Donald P. Proudfit, Gardner B. Collins, and H. Kedward Murray.
