A progress report by the Subcommittee on Filter Aid Backwash Disposal, of the Water Quality Division's Committee on Diatomite Filtration. The subcommittee's continuing work aims at studying and publicizing existing means of coping with the waste disposal problem, as well as seeking new and better solutions.
