This tribute to Samuel B. Morris was presented on May 21, 1969 at the Fuller Award Society Breakfast, AWWA Annual Conference, San Diego, California. Morris had a long career as an engineer and water works man. He was very active in AWWA, serving as chairman of the California Section of AWWA in 1927, national director of AWWA from 1930 to 1932, and president in 1944. He served on many committees of the Association and received the Diven medal for outstanding service to AWWA in 1933 and the Fuller Award in 1952.
