This article presents a hydraulic model analogous to very general subsurface geologic conditions, containing 30 observation wells. It was constructed to study and demonstrate the changes in the configuration of the water table produced by pumping wells. The model consists of a watertight plexiglass case containing a consolidated medium which is a mixture of sand and epoxy resin, which simulates a true sandstone.
