This article provides an overview of the National Water Institute (NWI), which was made the official source for all WWEMA public information in the latter part of 1959. The purpose of NWI is to keep the public constantly informed of water needs and requirements, and to inform the public how it can assist towns, cities, states, and regions, to carry out modern, effective water and pollution control programs.
