This article discusses a new aspect of customer service that has become increasingly important to the industry, that of positive public relations. It also discusses increasing the level of service offered by the water utilities, and provides examples of new water service trends in San Francisco, along with new trends at gas and electric utilities. The complexity of domestic water systems requires professional services, and special inspection of low pressure service calls are discussed.
